@aaronjsmith.net I had a really interesting discussion with my therapist recently about my incessant need to self-edit as I talk, and how it might be tied up in my religious roots where expressing truth just right is of utmost importance, as is not disappointing anyone in authority. Oof.

@chrishubbs.com I didn’t really start running until I was about 30. And didn’t make significant time improvements until I lost a lot of weight a couple years ago. I’m really enjoying it now!

@chrishubbs.com Yeah I’m getting to the point where 3 miles just doesn’t feel very long any more. Been doing more 4 and 5 milers for daily runs. And my pace is improving; yesterday did 4 miles at like an 8:30 average. Running a 10k race in a couple weeks. Aiming for a PR sub-9 avg, feels very doable.
