Last day of school for our last remaining high school kid!

Hard to believe we only have two years left before she graduates. If plans hold we’re queued up for a graduation each of the next 3 years: oldest from college next year, youngest from HS 2027, middle kid from college in 2028! 🤞

Chilling on the patio tonight. Can’t beat it.

Update: neighbor had indeed had his phone on the charger. Turns out his breaker had popped and he hadn’t noticed. Reset the breaker and hopefully he’s good to go.

95-year-old neighbor needs help because his Android phone won’t power on. Says it’s been charging.

Tried rebooting into recovery. Nothing. Backlight flashes and dies again.

Finally I say I’ll take it home and try some stuff. Plug it into my own charger. 2 minutes later: 🪫

Phew.

Four miles run and a lot of humidity this morning. Glad to have that behind me!

Somehow I’ve become that guy who goes out and runs five miles before breakfast. At least today. Tomorrow I’ll probably be sore and tired and not run. But still I’m managing to run 3-4x per week. Feels great.

Watched the new Mission:Impossible movie and for the first 90 minutes found myself in a remake of The Hunt for Red October.

That being said, if they wanna remake October with Hannah Waddingham in Fred Thompson’s role and Tramell Tillman as Bart Mancuso, I’m there for it.

Sun is up early enough now to support morning runs. Felt good to get out! Kinda bonked the last mile, may need to eat something before morning runs just for energy.

Well, Dallas looked a lot better in the first period tonight and they still end it down 1-0. Phooey.
