Finished Only Murders in the Building Season 4.

Paul Rudd : OMITB :: Kenny : SouthPark?

Tried out a podcast episode of The Rest is History. Quite entertaining. Then I look at the backlog: they are up over 500 episodes in just four years? How are these guys turning out this much content? I know there’s not a lot of production but that pace is staggering.

One of my favorite parts of having a book habit is then being able to share books with other people. Packing one up tonight to send to a friend whose name jumped to mind while reading it.

2025 Reads: Blessed One by Cynthia L. Rigby 📚

An interesting little set of essays. The final one, on Mary being a co-creator with God, was the highlight.

Catching up on Only Murders In the Building, Season 4. The cameos are hilarious, and then Melissa McCarthy shows up as Steve Martin’s sister and puts it completely over the top. 😂

Started the workday with a 7:30 AM video call with India and it hasn’t slowed down yet. Welcome to 2025!

It’s as if you crossed Becky Chambers with Dale Brown. Not as subtle or graceful as Chambers’ writing. but very pleasantly entertaining. I’ll read the next one.

Getting out of bed early on Saturday morning to prep these wasn’t so much fun, but in 30 minutes or so they are gonna be delicious.

Family movie night: That Thing You Do! (Extended edition, which drags a little but has a lot more color.)

Love the music, Steve Zahn’s humor, and Tom Hanks’ fist pump.

Mostly, deep down, I know I’m Guy Patterson. #IAmSpartacus

Today my Christmas present for myself ( I spent Xmas gift $ on it) shows up: my first turntable. So far my vinyl collection consists of 2 or 3 LPs that came as part of Kickstarter rewards packages. Will 2025 be the year I become a vinyl guy?
