A fine little primer on attachment, regulation, and limbic resonance.

After a full house yesterday for the grad party, it’s slowly emptying out. Three siblings left yesterday. Mom left just now. Oldest daughter and her bf will be here until tomorrow morning. Then the house will be quiet, back to normal, and feel kinda empty.

Heading into a busy long weekend… spent most of today cleaning. Oldest daughter and her boyfriend show up in 20 minutes. My sister comes in late tonight. More family tomorrow. HS grad for the middle kid tomorrow night, party on Saturday. Should be lots of fun, good food, a happy weekend.

2024 Reads: 3 Shades of Blue by James Kaplan 📚

Kaplan writes the history of bop, free jazz, and fusion through the lives of Davis, Coltrane, and Bill Evans. Wonderfully written, but such a tragic story of troubled, addicted men who somehow made such amazing music.

Quite a comeback by the Timberwolves. Denver just went cold in the third quarter and never recovered.

Things you didn’t know you needed until you heard them: a funk cover of Sandra McCracken’s We Will Feast In The House of Zion.
