When you’re on a keto diet but your Indian co-workers host a Diwali potluck… keto can wait until tomorrow. Good gracious that was tasty.

I think maybe the cold front that came through overnight marks the actual start of the chilly part of autumn for us here in Iowa. Low 40’s this morning and quite breezy. More of the same all week. Time to start cleaning up outside and prepping for winter.

Well, Nebraska looks pretty bad tonight. Can’t make stops on defense, can’t protect the QB. Minnesota ran a 10-minute drive to go up 14-6 and then the Huskers go 3-and-out. Weak. Just weak.

Just when I think I’m not that much of a nerd, I scroll through my podcast queue and decide that what I really want to listen to is the next session of Miroslav Volf’s Gifford Lectures.

Started the morning with a 5.5-mile run in 53-degree weather. Still a little chilly after a shower and breakfast. Hopefully the coffee kicks in soon.
