		<description>As it ended up, when I called the automated number to check the port status on Friday mid-morning, it said that the requests hadn&#039;t been sent through yet.  So whatever the kind lady did on the phone Thursday night, she didn&#039;t actually send through the port requests.  :-(

Once I got the requests into the automated system, Becky&#039;s came through almost immediately, and mine came through within an hour or so.</description>

		<description>Funny.  Verizon Wireless was able to port Penny&#039;s phone from Sprint in less than 15 minutes.  It&#039;s funny how it takes longer for some than others.  I guess it probably depends on the carrier you&#039;re switching from.</description>
